Citroen C2 VTS

Broadcast dates : 10th April 2005
16th April 2005

The Citroen C2 VTS has delectable big alloy wheels, the now-familiar garden-gnome nose, and the crisp rear-end.

The interior is pure funk, and itís been discoed up a notch or two to go with its more impressive VTS credentials.

What makes the VTS different is that itís been given 1,6-litre motor, quite a step-up from the 1,4-litre motor in terms of power.

But the VTS motor is a screamer rather than a grunter. In other words you have to rev it up.

To get the most out of the VTS you need to use the revs. The Citroen C2 VTS needs constant driver involvement, high revs, working the gearbox.

Bigger alloy wheels and stiffer suspension make the C2ís iffish ride even choppier on the VTS version. And in other dynamic driver areas, Citroen have work to do, too.
Citroen have captured the imagination of the youth-market with the C2. But it lacks the integration of larger Citroens. Sadly, the VTSís driving experience doesnít match its appearance.
